Health and Wellness Coaching
Everyone has made a goal for health and wellness in their lives but has struggled to make the goal a reality. Usually people know what they NEED to do in order to reach the goal but fall short with putting the plan into action.
Health Coaching is a dynamic process by which you can understand your motivation for change and find confidence that you can reach goals you have set for yourself. People need both motivation and confidence in order to achieve goals and health coaching helps identify reasons for motivation and helps find avenues that inspire confidence that the change can happen.
Health Coaching can address any of the following issues:
We work together to take a comprehensive look at what is going well in you life and what you want to improve. Then we identify goals that you want to work on and check in regularly to monitor progress and adjust approaches as needed!
In 2018 I earned a Health Coaching Certificate from the National Society of Health Coaches. This program is specifically designed for licensed healthcare professionals. I chose this program for its emphasis on evidenced based techniques to help people achieve lasting change.

What Can I expect?
When you call for an appointment I will speak with your personally to set this up. I have a very small office space that I share with one other provider. We do not have a receptionist so when you call you will receive personal, direct communication with your therapist.
Call any time to set up an appointment. You may also choose to send an email through my contact page. When we schedule the appointment we will take time to chat briefly about your reason for coming for therapy so I can understand your needs. If you have questions about your insurance or financial responsibility for your sessions be sure to ask me. Most therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes in length. First time Health Coaching sessions are 45 minutes long and follow up health coaching sessions are typically 30 minutes in length. |
