I have worked in Omaha providing supportive services to our community in a variety of settings for the past 20 years. During this time I have had the great honor of walking along side my clients as they experienced some of the most difficult events in their lives. Working with others in times of loss, incomprehensible life change, and overwhelming emotional distress has been a humbling experience that no amount of education could prepare a person for.
The experience I gained through the years is invaluable to my work now. The values of client self-determination, mutual respect, acceptance, honesty and integrity guide my practice.
I look at the whole person- body, mind and spirit- to help a person find health again through achieving balance in their lives.
I am licensed by the State of Nebraska as a Clinical Social Worker and an Independent Mental Health Practitioner. I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2003.
